ZERO MINUTES ON THE GROUND: OUR QUALITY GOAL

With the thousands of components that go into commercial planes, even the most well maintained aircraft spends at least some time on the ground. So at KAPCO, we're always working toward a single team goal: providing components that meet the highest standards of quality and therefore reduce on-ground time as much as possible. Our commitment to quality is dynamic and proactive. We have developed and maintain a quality system that assures not only product quality but quality service that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations. It takes clearly defined goals and plans to reach real success.

The Quality Policy of KAPCO:
To plan, execute, and review everything we do
to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

KAPCO has established a fabrication inspection system that is FAA approved under FAR Part 21.303 (h). Our system is designed to ensure that each part conforms to its approved design data and is safe for installation on type-certificated products.

In 1972 with McDonnell Douglas and in 1974 with Lockheed-Martin, KAPCO entered into licensing agreements to provide spare parts support to the aviation marketplace. These agreements grant KAPCO the right to use the approved design data under the applicable type certificates.

In June 2000, KAPCO entered into a licensing agreement with Honeywell to provide seal product spare parts support to the entire aviation aftermarket. These seals are shipped under Honeywell Engines and Systems direct ship authority or are recognized standard parts.

You can be assured that all KAPCO modification and replacement parts are:

  • Manufactured to the original type design
  • Identified with reference to the original type design part numbers
  • Supported and maintained through cognizant engineering by the Original Type Certificate Holders

KAPCO currently holds FAA-PMA on over 40,000 licensed products
